Meet our director, Dr. Wilfred Hynes

Wilfred Hynes, MD has directed the Pain Management Center since 2005. He has devoted his career to treating pain originating in the spine and exploring nonsurgical treatments to help patients with chronic back and neck pain.

Dr. Hynes and the rest of our physicians are board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology. Unlike with similar programs at most major Boston hospitals, our attending physicians are more intimately involved in caring for every patient, from making evaluations to performing injections. As a result, you'll receive the expert, compassionate brand of care for which Tufts MC is so well-known.
