Find a Doctor
Hematologic malignancies of the blood, bone marrow or lymph nodes include a wide array of cancers, each requiring different therapies. That's why making the right diagnosis is so critical to your care.
If you're living with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma, the treatment options can seem overwhelming. Our doctors work exclusively to study and treat blood cancers and are expert communicators and will ensure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options. Together, we will develop a plan of care that right for your cancer type, health history and lifestyle.
We use precise histologic, molecular and genetic testing to pinpoint your diagnosis and develop an effective, personalized treatment plan.
Targeted Therapy
Armed with the results of your diagnostic testing, our doctors can administer the latest drugs, designed to target the growth of your specific cancer type. Targeted therapies are revolutionizing the care of blood cancers once again. Our physicians provide access to the latest approved and experimental therapies for your cancer.
Chemotherapy & Radiation Therapy
Chemotherapy, radiation therapy or a combination of both these therapies remain the mainstay of treatment for the blood cancers. The combined experience of our doctors, pharmacists and nurses will ensure that your care is delivered with the utmost precision in a setting of uncompromized personal, compassionate care.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy engages your body's own immune system to fight your cancer. In the last decade, combinations of chemotherapy and immunotherapy have produced unparalleled treatment success and have increased the likelihood of cure for many blood cancer types.
Stem Cell Transplantation
If you require a bone marrow transplant, you won’t need to meet another doctor - your doctor is already part of the team from the Tufts MC Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program. Having the same doctor from start to finish ensures exceptional continuity, precise communication and personal attention to your care. Since performing the first bone marrow transplant in Boston, we've helped more than 1,300 patients find new hope with this life-saving procedure.
Clinical Trials
Our doctors are constantly striving to improve care for our patients. Our clinical trials program ensures your access to the most innovative and promising drugs and procedures from the pharmaceutical industry and our own research laboratories across the Tufts campus. Our doctors are leaders in the development of new treatments in cancer care and transplantation.
Our doctors are active collaborators in cooperative trial groups that work together on national and international levels to set new standards of care for today and innovate the next generation of treatments for tomorrow.

We understand that living with cancer is difficult for you and your family, and we try to help in every way we can. Your care team takes the time to get to know you, answer your questions and address your concerns. In addition, a social worker is always available to connect you and your family with the many support services available at Tufts MC and throughout the community.
We strive to make your care as convenient and stress-free as possible. For example, our pharmacy is located on the same floor as our infusion center. Patients receiving outpatient treatments also have access to the Neely House at Tufts MC, a bed and breakfast-style home-away-from-home for you and your family.
We appreciate the importance of maintaining close relationships with referring physicians and will communicate with you throughout your patient's course of treatment.
