Our expert surgeons in the division of Cardiac Surgery at Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston offer care for all acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. We use state-of-the-art techniques including robotic technology, to deliver world class care for every patient.
Our cardiac surgeons work closely with the Tufts MC cardiologists to make sure that you receive a thorough evaluation and an active consultation throughout your time in our care. We work as a team to provide management for cardiac related problems including complex arrhythmias, insertion of pacemakers or defibrillators and echocardiography.
Working together, we are able to offer transesophageal echocardiography for all patients in the operating room and at any time during the postoperative period. Intraoperative echocardiography is also available and is performed by trained cardiac anesthesiologists and cardiologists specializing in echocardiography.
