Vascular Center

Highly specialized vascular care

The Vascular Center at Tufts Medical Center brings together specialists in vascular surgery, cardiology, interventional radiology, podiatry and infectious disease to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for the range of arterial and vascular diseases.

Specialists from departments across Tufts Medical Center, many of them national leaders in their fields, work together to review your medical history and test results and tailor care plans to your individual needs to provide you with highly personalized care.

Diagnosing vascular disease using the latest technologies

Our team offers an integrative approach to diagnosing patients through our Cardiovascular Imaging Center. We provide the complete range of advanced diagnostic services, including:
  • Noninvasive vascular hemondynamics and duplex ultrasound imaging
  • Computed tomographic angiography
  • Magnetic resonance angiography
  • Invasive diagnostic angiography
  • Catheter directed digital angiography
  • Intervascular ultrasound

How we treat vascular disease

Our goal is to provide patients with an evaluation that encompasses all elements of vascular medicine and a care plan that emphasizes efficacy and efficiency, while reducing risk. By using our new Hybrid OR Suite, our surgeons and interventional specialists can perform some of the most advanced therapeutic procedures available, including trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), complex aortic endovascular repair and minimally-invasive coronary revascularization.

Other services we provide include angioplasty, stent and stent grafts, plaque excision, laser plaque abalation and rotational atherectomy. We offer these treatment services for patients with a wide range of vascular diseases, which include problems that affect arterial and venous circulation.
