The signs of heart disease can be different in women and men – differences that can lead to misdiagnosis. The Women’s Heart Clinic at Tufts Medical Center is a leader in efforts to bring the best possible care to women who either have or at are risk for cardiovascular disease. We provide consultations to primary care physicians and to cardiologists, with a focus on preventing, diagnosing, and managing heart disease in women.
Our team of specialists includes world-class researchers in areas like cholesterol and blood pressure abnormalities in women and hormone replacement therapy. They are also compassionate physicians, who take the time to listen and tailor treatments to the individual patient’s needs.
