CardioVascular Center

Research + Clinical Trials

The CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston is home to a wide range of research disciplines, all focused better understanding and improving outcomes for patients with heart disease. From our innovative research into VAD surgery and heart transplants to our genetic research into hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, we're on the forefront of cardiovascular research.

In particular, our participation in the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute has yielded a number of influential results in the molecular mechanisms of human cardiovascular disease and translation of bench findings to new bedside strategies for diagnosis and therapy.
