Endocrinology Fellowship Program - Teaching Opportunities

One of the primary goals of the Fellowship Program is for the Fellows to appreciate the importance on continuing learning and teaching by participating in various teaching activities.

This aspect of the Program is highly important to Fellows that plan an academic career. Fellows in the Program:

  • Function as preceptors in the Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) physical diagnosis course for first year medical students (shared among first year Fellows)
  • Function as group leaders in discussion groups in the TUSM II pathophysiology course (a three-week course in April and May)
  • Participate in the teaching of medical residents and students as they rotate through the Endocrinology Service.
