Our General Hepatology Program is provided by multiple hepatology-trained specialty providers. You will be seen within a 2 week wait period. The providers will develop an individualized plan to care for your liver disease. Referrals to multidisciplinary clinics or transplant service will be made on a case-by-case basis.
In the 1970s, Tufts Liver Clinic was set up and led by Dr. Marshall Kaplan, a world class clinical scientist and hepatologist who made seminal discoveries in the field of hepatology at the Tufts Medical Center, in particular autoimmune liver diseases.
