These services do not provide transportation – they provide an escort who can ride with a patient on the T, bus, taxi, The Ride, Senior Shuttle, ride sharing service, PT-1, etc. Tufts Medical Center encourages patients to make a follow up call prior to the day of the procedure.
These services also:
- Require 2 weeks’ notice
- Are free
- Serve patients 60+ years of age
- Are available from 9 – 5 pm
- Offer no assistance in the home
- Requires patient to be a Boston or Brookline resident
