Drs. Christine Wanke and Alice Tang are collaborating with Drs. Suniti Solomon, N. Kumarasamy and colleagues at the Y. R. Gaitonde Center for AIDS Research and Education in Chennai, India to investigate nutritional and metabolic complications of HIV and antiretroviral therapy in South India. Learn more about the Y. R. In addition, these investigators are working with the National Institute of Epidemiology of the Indian Council of Medical Research and one of the SAHAI Trust community health centers in North Chennai, to investigate the nutritional and metabolic status and hepatitis B and C co-infection of HIV-positive and HIV-negative injecting drug users (IDUs) in Chennai, India as part of the Tufts TNC CDAAR program.
