Anshul Bhalla, MD Nephrology FellowAnshul Bhalla, MD
Medical School:  B.J. Medical College, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India
Residency:  Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA
Hobbies/Interests:  Travelling, Sailing, Yoga
Why Tufts MC?: Having worked in the Division as a research volunteer and then interacting with the faculty as an intern and a resident, the biggest reason for choosing Tufts were the people. In spite of being stalwarts in the different aspects of nephrology, everyone is humble and approachable. I was sure that even in a busy nephrology fellowship, I will enjoy the working environment and be well supported. Additionally, I found the program to be well balanced with inpatient and outpatient exposure and excellent training in PD. Having the renal service staffed by nephrology attendings is a big plus and takes away and big chunk of workload from the fellows. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change anything.
