Why did you choose Tufts MC? While researching for fellowship programs, I was looking for an institution known for academic excellence and would advocate for wellness. Once I interviewed at Tufts Nephrology, I felt at home. The attendings and staff are extremely supportive. There is a good sense of work-life balance at Tufts, without sacrificing the quality of training we get. Given the chance to do the match all over again, I would still choose Tufts. It is a great community to be a part of.

Why did you choose Tufts MC? I chose Tufts Medical Center primarily because of the incredible people. From the moment my interview started I could tell that all the fellows, faculty, and administrators are genuine, down-to-Earth people and are a true family who always support each other. I've had the opportunity to work with and learn from national experts in nephrology all while enjoying the amazing benefits that Boston has to offer. The exposure to transplant, peritoneal dialysis, home hemodialysis, a longitudinal clinic, and an interesting consult service will make me a well-rounded nephrologist ready to begin a successful post-training career in any setting that I want.

I love spending time with family and hiking – especially in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. My clinical interests include acute kidney injury and acid-base and electrolyte derangements in the ICU.
Why did you choose Tufts MC?
I chose Tufts MC Nephrology because it offers a triple threat – 1) rigorous clinical training with longitudinal exposure to hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis; 2) focused, one-on-one mentorship; and 3) integrated clinical research with an abundance of resources.

Why did you choose Tufts MC?
Tufts offered everything I was looking for in a fellowship training program. The research track allows for dedicated time for research and to obtain a master's degree in clinical and translational research. On the clinical side of things, we get to see all aspects of nephrology and the attendings are some of the most intelligent and kind people I have interacted with in medicine.
