Inpatient Services

Services for inpatients are provided by the Nutrition Support Service.  This consultation service provides assessment and recommendations for the management of nutritional and metabolic complications that arise in acutely in patients.

Physicians, registered dietitians and other health professionals comprise and work in an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care including total parenteral nutrition (I.V. nutrition), enteral nutrition (tube feeding), strategies to enhance oral intake and providing specialized diets.
