Breast Reconstruction, Reduction and Augmentation Program

Tufts Medical Center plastic surgeons offer a wide range of breast surgeries including breast augmentation, lifts, reduction and reconstruction. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and happy with how you look, which is why we truly listen to what you want and need so that we can achieve the best results together.

The breast surgery services that we provide include:

Breast augmentation (augmentation mammaplasty) – breast implants are one of the most commonly performed plastic surgeries. Implants give women with small or uneven breast size a fuller, firmer and proportioned look. Our surgeons offer both saline and silicone gel implants.

Breast lift (mastopexy) – a surgical procedure that lifts and reshapes breasts that have sagged as a result of weight loss, pregnancy or aging.

Breast reduction (reduction mammaplasty) – this surgery is typically performed in order to provide relief from pain, posture issues, skeletal deformities that may arise from having large breasts. The procedure removes fat and tissue while tightening the skin and lifting the breast to produce a lighter and smaller breast.

Breast reconstruction – we provide breast reconstruction services for patients who have undergone radiation therapy or mastectomy after breast cancer. Breast reconstruction can help these women feel better about how they look and improve quality of life. Because there are many options, your surgeon will work with you to help decide what the right plan for you might be. We are also leaders in oncoplastic surgery - learn more >

Male breast reduction (gynecomastia) – enlarged male breasts is a common condition that can be helped with breast reduction surgery. The procedure removes fat and tissue from the breasts resulting in a chest that is flatter and firmer.
