At Tufts Medical Center Primary Care - Boston, our entire team is centered on you. While your interactions with our practice are typically centered on your time with your provider, we know how important our administrative and support staff are to the entire experience. Please meet some of our support team members below!

Cindy Chow is the front desk admin at Primary Care - BostonCindy Chow – Practice Coordinator

She is a real character – she lives for coffee and wishes she could conjure magic powers. She is bilingual and vacations in Hong Kong. Ask her three things she can’t live without and she’ll say, “Air, money, and strength”. You might see her at the front desk when you arrive for your appointment. She loves to serve patients and will always bring a smile to your face.

 

 

 

Sam Matos is a practice coordinator at Primary Care -Boston Samantha Matos –  Practice Coordinator- Dr. Suzukida and Dr. Zilberman

Samantha Matos can’t live without food, family, and laughing, but not necessarily in that order! Her ideal vacation would be hiking and exploring in Hawaii with family. She loves interacting with the elderly at Tufts MC-Primary Care. You might see her at the front desk when you arrive for your appointment. Ask about her favorite movie – Moana!

Tell us something interesting about you that most people do not know: I like to bake, I like music, I like to dance, and I absolutely love photography. I love to see unique scenery and take pictures of them.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Healing powers so I can heal every sick person in the world.
Favorite ice cream flavor: Chunky Monkey from Ben & Jerry’s

Tell us about your family: I have a twin brother, an older sister and we all immigrated from Bulgaria
Do you have any pets? Yes. I have a cat “Ms. Kitty Winkles” or “Winkles” for short.
Why Tufts Medical Center? People here are like family. We work really well together, and as a result we are able to provide better care to our patients.

Do you have any pets? Yes. I have a dog… Chihuahua Yorkie mix “Chorkie” for short!
Favorite vacation spot: Hershey, Pennsylvania (Hersheypark)

Rita Leung is a coordinator at Primary Care BostonRita Leung – Primary Physician Coordinator- Dr. Maturano and Dr. Syndman

 

Rita Leung's favorite personal activities include Tai Chi, exercise, learning languages, and traveling. She grew up in Hong Kong and raised her family in the Boston area. Rita enjoys time with her family including her three grown sons. At work, she enjoys working with the doctors and serving each patient to provide the best service possible. Next February, Rita will be celebrating 19 years with the hospital and looks forward to many more.

What are your interests outside of work: I like to play paddle ball and billiard’s, I like playing the guys and beating them.
Any special talents: I sing
Why Tufts MC?:
 I like working at Tufts, because it feels like home.  We have a lot of wonderful people that work here and it’s comfortable to me.  I don’t know if I would find another place like this to work.

What are your interests outside of work? Watching reruns of Friends & Will & Grace (literally, all the time)

Tell us about your family: My whole family is short so none of us can get on the cool rides
What are three things you cannot live without: Music, dinosaurs shaped chicken nuggets (they taste better than the regular ones) and sweatpants
