Lung Nodule Evaluation Center

Overview

Advanced medical care when you need it most

When you have a concern about your lung health, you want answers as soon as possible. At Tufts Medical Center’s Lung Nodule Evaluation Center, we can help you find answers fast. Our specialists are experts in the evaluation and treatment of nodules caused by lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, thymoma, tracheal tumors and other diseases.

Early evaluation by our physicians can determine your risk of cancer and provide the most accurate diagnosis with the least amount of additional testing. Our assessment will determine the cause of the lung nodule (a spot appearing on a lung X-ray or CT scan 3 centimeters in diameter or smaller), the need for further assessment and the ideal plan for follow-up by one of our experts if needed.

Working closely with referring physicians

We work closely with referring physicians throughout the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of patients with lung nodules. If you are a referring physician and would like to make a referral, please call 617-636-LUNG (5864).
