Radiation Oncology

Overview

A true leader in the field

Radiation oncology has a long and distinguished history at Tufts Medical Center. Our Radiation Oncology Department was one of the first established in Boston and has since earned a reputation as a leader in patient care, research and training.

Our experienced team is skilled in using radiation therapy to treat all types of cancer and certain benign conditions, such as keloids, trigeminal neuralgia and inflammatory diseases

While we offer the latest radiation therapy technologies, we never forget the human side of our work. Patients typically visit us on a near daily basis over the course of several weeks. So we get to know you well and are always available to answer your questions and lend emotional support.

Concerned about coming downtown for your radiation therapy? If you can't take public transportation, you can take advantage of free parking nearby or valet parking. It's just one more way we try to minimize your stress as you get well.
