Tufts University's four-year residency program in diagnostic radiology is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and requires a clinical year at the PGY-1 level.

Five to six residents per year are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) using the Electronic Resident Application Service (ERAS).

This is a resident-driven program that prepares trainees for competitive fellowships and the demands of today's job market. Residents get experience in vascular and interventional procedures, pediatric and adult fluoroscopy, CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures, and a range of procedures in women's imaging (needle localization under ultrasound and mammography and ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies).
