Our curriculum is designed to prepare trainees for the core examination and beyond. Residents gain autonomy over the course of their four years and become confident and proficient across all modalities. The fourth year offers flexibility, with six months of elective time which can be used to reinforce the foundations of radiology, or for subspecialization with a mini-fellowship.
The call experience at Tufts MC provides a unique opportunity for resident growth and development. Residents begin taking independent call at the start of their second year. This autonomy offers invaluable experience to residents as they develop into exceptional, highly-trained radiologists.
Our ACGME application for the ESIR (Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology) was approved in January 2017. We anticipate internal selection of up to three candidates per class. Learn more about ESIR.
