Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship

The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center offers a non-ACGME accredited fellowship training in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Fellows are trained in reading all types of MRIs, including those focused on abdominal, breast, cardiac, musculoskeletal, and neurological disorders. We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, including those who graduated from US or non-US medical schools as well as those who completed US or non-US radiology residency training. Those requiring ECFMG-sponsored J-1 visa are welcome to apply.

Clinical opportunities

The clinical goal of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Fellowship is for fellows to become experts at reading all types of MRIs and identifying conditions related to the abdomen and pelvis, breast, heart, musculoskeletal system, and brain and the central nervous system.

Research opportunities

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship is primarily focused on in-depth clinical training, however, we encourage fellows to undertake a research project or a quality improvement project if they are interested to do so.
