The Weight and Wellness Center at Tufts Medical Center is dedicated to providing our current and prospective patients with all the information that they need to make informed choices about their weight loss options.

Mentor Program

Are you interested in speaking with a patient who has had weight loss surgery? We would be happy to refer you to one of our mentors  who is a role model for bariatric surgery success.

Support Groups

Connect with patients like you who are on the journey to living happier and healthier lives. Support groups are located on both the South Shore and Boston.

Share Your Story

Are you a current patient who would like to share your before and after surgery photo?  If so, please fill out our Media Consent Authorization Form and send it along with your photo to us and we’ll add your to our Now and Then Book.

Looking for Healthy Recipes?

We are often asked to provide healthy recipes for our patients. Submit your favorite recipe to and you will receive a “scaled” down version and your recipe may be highlighted as part of the “Recipe of the Month” on both our website and Facebook page.
