Steroid Resistant Asthma

Asthma is a disorder that causes the airways of the lungs to swell and narrow, leading to wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. With steroid resistant asthma, steroid medications normally prescribed for treatment do not work and alternative relief drugs or methods are used.
