At Tufts Medical Center’s Infectious Diseases Clinic you will find experienced physicians who care deeply about finding the right diagnosis and treatment for you, whether you’ve been referred to us for a prolonged fever or a complex multi-disease diagnosis.

When you need care, you probably don’t want to navigate from room to room in a busy hospital. That’s why we’ve brought together all the diagnostic tests and services you need in one convenient location.

At the General Infectious Diseases Clinic, we diagnose, treat and provide management of a range of conditions including, but not limited to:

  • Osteomyelitis
  • Endocarditis
  • Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial diseases (more details below)
  • Tick-borne infections
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases and PrEP
  • Fungal infections
  • HIV (more details below)
  • HCV
  • HBV

You may also be referred to our doctors before an organ or bone marrow transplant. We work closely with Tufts Medical Center’s Transplant teams prepare you for transplant by conducting a comprehensive health and vaccine evaluation.

Treating such a broad range of infectious diseases has allowed us to develop the best practices across various conditions while providing focused care based on your individual needs. Our doctors and staff not only have the skills to provide the best treatments available but also an understanding about the challenges you face.

The general clinic is also divided into several subspecialty clinics designed around your specific needs. When you call, we will quickly set up an appointment with the specialists who treat your condition.

Most of our services are provided on an outpatient basis, but should you need more extensive care, you will have access to the in-patient facilities of our world class academic medical center.
