Dr. Jordan is studying the emergence of HIV drug resistance in a population of HIV infected individuals beginning first-line ART in Hanoi, Vietnam and developing allele-specific PCR assays to detect the emergence of low frequency HIV drug resistance mutations and their impact on clinical outcomes.
