Those who wish to apply to the Tufts Affiliated Hospitals Orthopedic Residency must do so through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). We must receive a USMLE Transcript as part of every ERAS application. A minimum of three letters of recommendation are required, but we will accept no more than four letters of recommendation.
For the 2020-2021 Match year, all applications must be received by October 21, 2020, through ERAS. All completed applications will be reviewed by the Tufts Resident Selection Committee. Those applicants who are invited for an interview will be notified once the Committee has completed its review of the applications. All interviews will be held virtually on December 11 and 12, 2020. We see residents who combine high academic achievement with leadership and interpersonal skills.
For the 2020-2021 Match year, we will be accepting either the traditional letter of recommendation or the AOA/CORD Standardized Letter of Recommendation Form, click on the link for the form: Standardized Letter of Recommendation Form for Orthopaedic Surgery.
