Radiation Oncology Residency Program

A welcome from our Program Director, Kathryn E. Huber, MD, PhD.

About this program

Kathryn E. Huber

Thank you for your interest in the Radiation Oncology residency training program at Tufts Medical Center. The medical center is a world-class academic center located in Boston, Massachusetts and the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine.

Our program specializes in producing well-trained, board-eligible radiation oncologists who have the experience and confidence to practice independently. We are committed to having a diverse group of trainees and faculty in our program and are inclusive of people of all backgrounds. Our medical practice encounters patients from a wide referral network encompassing a complete cross-section of society of all socio-economic levels with early stage disease to the more advanced or palliative cases. Our residents spend more 1:1 time with faculty and clinicians affording the opportunity to develop long-lasting professional relationships. We provide one dedicated day for didactic training. We are very proud that our residents have successfully secured positions in academic and private practice upon graduation!
