Training + Education

At Tufts Medical Center, we believe in training the great doctors of tomorrow. The Radiology Department is involved with several educational initiatives, including the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Training Program  and the Neuroradiology Fellowship Training Program, a joint venture of Tufts MC and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

The dedicated MRI fellowship is a comprehensive 12-month clinical fellowship in MRI including rotations through neuroimaging, body, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and breast MRI. The fellow will learn how to prescribe MRI protocols, supervise, and interpret scans in all areas and will gain experience with new MRI techniques.  The fellow will also be trained in MR-guided biopsy and MR arthrography.

One dedicated MRI fellow is accepted each year.
