Rheumatology

Clinical Care + Services

Senada Arabelovic, MD and William Harvey, MD examine a patient at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. The Division of Rheumatology at Tufts Medical Center is recognized as one of the nation’s leading centers for the treatment of arthritis and rheumatic disease. As part of one of Boston's premiere hospitals, our Center features state-of-the-art treatment rooms designed to more easily accommodate patients with disabilities and an infusion area where patients receiving IV administration of new classes of drugs can do so in a comfortable setting.

The doctors in the Center for Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases provide consultation and follow-up for the spectrum of rheumatic disorders, including musculoskeletal disorders. Patients have access to the latest industry and NIH clinical trials for cutting-edge treatment of rheumatic diseases, including a program for complementary and integrative medicine.

Our rheumatologists work closely with referring physicians to meet each individual patient's needs. We believe in a team approach in which the physician works with the rheumatology nurse and medical assistant to provide excellent care that is also compassionate and convenient.
