Dr. Liff studied History and Science at Harvard College, and went on to receive her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology in the Bronx, NY at the Montefiore/Einstein OBGYN program. During residency her research was focused on poverty and HIV disease. Dr. Liff then came home to Boston and completed her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her fellowship research in Botswana focused on cervical length in HIV infected women, and risk of preterm birth.
Dr. Liff is excited to be working at Tufts Medical Center MFM. Her clinical and research interests include global health, HIV in pregnancy, social determinants of health, and preterm birth. She is interested in medical education and enjoys mentoring residents on research projects.
