Julie Tishler, MD is a practicing internist with a special interest in quality improvement, behavior change and mental health as it relates to primary care. After completing an accelerated psychiatry program at the University of Maryland Medical School including a special internship at Guys Hospital in London, England, Dr. Tishler decided to use her behavioral health interest and skills in primary care. Her passion for teaching and patients led her from her Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center residency directly to the Dimock Center where she practiced for 16 years. She has recently joined Tufts Medical Center Primary Care as Director of Quality. Dr. Tishler enjoys guitar playing and listening, as well as hiking.
