Seung Kyum Kim received his BS/MS from Korea University and completed his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology at Texas A&M University in 2015. His doctoral study was to identify genomic loci/genes associated with the variation in intrinsic vascular function and vascular response to exercise training in mice via large genomic scale approaches (GWAS, QTL). He joined the MCRI in 2015 and is presently working with Dr. Iris Jaffe as a postdoctoral fellow. His projects include investigating the epigenetic regulation and the role of mineralocorticoid receptor in cardiovascular aging.
