Dr. William Crown is a Senior Advisor at the PACE Center, specializing in health economics, comparative effectiveness research, and data analysis (especially “big data”). Dr. Crown has a long history of collaboration with the PACE Center, working on projects such as “How Well Do Clinical Prediction Models (CPMs) Validate? A Large-Scale Evaluation of Cardiovascular Clinical Prediction Models”. Dr. Crown received his Master’s degree in Economics from Boston University and his doctorate in Regional Economic Modeling from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Crown has extensive experience in both academia and industry, recently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at OptumLabs. He currently holds a position as a Distinguished Research Scientist at Brandeis University.
