Xiaoying Qiao earned her MD at Beijing Medical University (Peking University Health Science Center) in China and then received her PhD from Yamagata University School of Medicine in Japan. After four years of postdoctoral training at the Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Qiao joined Dr. Kapur's lab as a Research Associate in June 2011. She is currently studying the role of endoglin in cardiac fibrosis in animal models and human tissue.
