We offer 41 programs accredited by the ACGME. Our GME programs include 19 specialty ACGME accredited residency programs and a number of subspecialty and fellowship information. Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), which is administered by the Association of American Medical Colleges.

The Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at Tufts Medical Center is an ACGME accredited training program providing one year of comprehensive, multidisciplinary training in critical care medicine.

The MCRI sponsors Multidisciplinary Research Groups that foster collaboration among clinical, translational and basic scientists including MCRI faculty and investigators across Tufts Medicine and Tufts University. These groups include the Cardio-Oncology Research Group, the Cardio-Renal Research Group, the Vasculo-Neuro Research Group, the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Research Group, and the Wound Healing Research Group.

Fellows are encouraged to pursue their research interests in basic science, clinical and translational research. It is the goal that each fellow will have at least one presentation a year at a regional or national meeting during their fellowship.

The members of the Department of Nursing work side-by-side with physicians and other healthcare professionals to serve the patients of Tufts Medical Center and the Tufts Medical Center. The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center offers a non-ACGME accredited fellowship training in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Fellows are trained in reading all types of MRIs, including those focused on abdominal, breast, cardiac, musculoskeletal, and neurological disorders. We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, including those who graduated from US or non-US medical schools as well as those who completed US or non-US radiology residency training. Those requiring ECFMG-sponsored J-1 visa are welcome to apply.

The mission of the Tufts Women in Medicine and Science (WiMS) Committee is to promote the professional and personal development of women in medicine and science and to advocate for parity for women at our institution.

Tufts Medical Center’s Neurosurgery Residency Program in Boston teaches bedside and operating room techniques to neurosurgery residents.

The Tufts Medical Center Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office provides support for the activities within our medical education programs.
