Residents have ample opportunity for global health endeavors. In recent years, our residents have used elective time to pursue projects in Haiti, Cape Verde, China, with another one of our residents currently planning a trip to Tanzania.

A large number of educational resources are available through Tufts University, and residents are also provided subscriptions to RADPrimer and STATdx.

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Training Program at Tufts Medical Center provides trainees with the necessary skills to become exceptional specialists. Fellows are integrated into all aspects of the Division of Cardiology and the CardioVascular Center, providing bedside care, mastering procedural skills and participating in educational and research activities.

In September, Lija Joseph, MD, FASCP, FACP, Lowell General Hospital’s Chief of Pathology and Medical Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, had two unique opportunities to share about the Lowell General Patient Pathology Consult Program that she founded in 2017.

The team at Circle Health Urgent Care is dedicated to serving as a community resource for both patients and our business community. Since early February, our Urgent Care team has been actively managing the pandemic by expediting operational changes and protocols to support the varied needs of patients seeking Urgent Care, as well as municipal workers and first responders such as police and fire departments through Occupational Medicine Services.
