Today, they live in the same house together in Tyngsborough and work as nurses on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lowell Sun recently featured their unique story in its June 3 edition.

“As physically and emotionally challenging as the last couple of weeks have been, I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else in this pandemic situation or with a different team,” Katherine Conole says in the story.

“I always knew how important nurses are, but it’s just been so eye-opening how valuable they are to the care team,” Elizabeth added.
