The Lowell General Hospital family of patient service centers grew to nine with the official opening of our new facility in Pelham, NH on Monday, May 6.

With COVID-19 cases and related hospitalizations rising steadily across Greater Lowell, Lowell General Hospital and Circle Health have made the difficult decision to restrict visitors at all locations inpatient and outpatient locations, effective at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Every spring for the last 20 years, thousands of people from across the Merrimack Valley have taken to the streets of downtown Lowell for TeamWalk for CancerCare, raising millions of dollars over that span to support cancer patients in need.

TeamWalk for CancerCare teams walked on their terms again this year, but that didn’t stop them from collectively raising more than $410,000 for cancer patients across the Merrimack Valley, topping last year’s total.

Cancer doesn’t go away in a pandemic, and neither does TeamWalk for CancerCare’s commitment to supporting cancer patients in need.
